– On April 20, the Commercial Attaché, Mr. Jasim Husein met with Mr. Matthew Boulos, from Schneider Electric, a company specialized in agricultural technology. The representative of the company gave a comprehensive presentation on the modern agricultural technology provided by the company including watering techniques and technologies on preventing water waste.

Mr. Boulos outlined the company’s efforts to work with the United Nations and the World Bank to provide Iraq with these important agricultural services. Boulos requested the assistant of the commercial Attaché to make the necessary arrangement with the concerned authorities in Iraq, especially the Ministry of Agriculture regarding this matter.

For his part, the Commercial Attaché expressed his support for this project and any project that could serve Iraq’s economy, especially in agriculture, which will help Iraq’s goal to diversify its national sources of income
