The Iraqi Commercial Attaché Mr. Jasim husein participated in the reception of Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi and his accompanying delegation during an official visit to the United States from 3/20/2017 to 3/22/2017.

The Commercial Attaché also attended the Prime Minister’s meeting with the US Chamber of Commerce on March 20, 2017. The meeting was attended by the Secretary of Commerce, Mr. Wilbur Ross, members of the US Chamber of Commerce, as well as a number of businessmen and representatives of US companies and US officials.

Prime Minister Dr. Haidar al-Abadi mentioned in his speech during the meeting that the war on ISIS and liberating all of Iraq has come to its final stages, pointing out that the next challenge facing Iraq is the economic challenge, saying that this challenge is no less dangerous than terrorism.

The PM said the Iraqi government has a clear vision to overcome the financial crisis and revive its national economy.
